First date nerves can seem overwhelming and if you let them, they can make it impossible for you to enjoy your date and make a good impression. But, if you know a few tips and tricks for acing your first date every time, you have no need to be nervous, right?

That’s why we’ve put together some basic tips and tricks to help you rock your first date and make the right impression first time, every time…

  1. Get into a positive state of mind

Being in a positive state of mind will prevent you from being nervous, but more than that, it will make you seem attractive because positive people are always more attractive than negative mood-suckers, right?

So whatever it takes, whether you meditate for an hour before your date, check out gay topic ideas you can discuss with your date so you’re prepared, or listen to your favorite “in the zone” tracks to get you in the right frame of mine, doing what it takes to be more positive is always going to help you rock it.

  1. Wear something you feel great in

The better you feel, the easier it will be for you to get into the one and actually relax enough to enjoy your date, and dressing to impress will also…well impress your date too. So, go through your wardrobe and choose an outfit that works for you, makes you look amazing, and which you will also feel comfortable in. Pair that with gorgeous, pearly whites and you have the total package. You can check out this dentist in redwood city to help with this.

This will give you a great confidence boost so you can focus on being the best version of yourself possible.

  1. Fake it ‘til you make it

If you really are still a bundle of nerves, tey the fake it ‘til you make it approach, Go in for a quick hug and a casal hi as soon as you greet your date it will make them think that you’re so cool that you might be able to feel it enough to actually relax a bit more and start enjoying yourself.

  1. Ask them lots of questions

If you are struggling to think of anything to say because your mind has suddenly stopped functioning and you’re at real risk of looking like a fool in front of your date, ask them a question. Most people love talking about themselves and if you keep asking follow-up questions, you can show them that you’re really interested. Maybe start by asking them their favorite band or musician as that always tells you a lot about a person, and it’s easy to keep the conversation flowing about favorite songs, etc.

  1. Offer to pay

Most dates will want to split the check but offering to pay means that you don’t have to worry about that awkward moment when the bull is presented, which is often one of the trickiest things to navigate on a first date. By knowing you’ll offer to pay in advance you can make it seem far less daunting and that will make the date go more smoothly overall.

Have a great first date!
