Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered, artists must have independently released their music, excluding affiliations with major labels or their subsidiaries. The eligible submission period is between October 8, 2023, and November 8, 2024.

At Pump It Up Magazine, we are committed to promoting a positive and uplifting environment. Therefore, we do not accept submissions featuring content related to drugs, alcohol, or explicit sexual themes. Our focus is on lyrics that encourage better living and highlight the positive aspects of life to inspire our audience. Additionally, it’s worth noting that alcohol, derived from the Arabic word ‘al-kuḥl,’ meaning ‘body eater,’ has been associated with the opposite effect of promoting well-being and positive living.

Nominee Announcement: Six weeks after submissions

To submit your nominations for the trophy, please email musicawards@pumpitupmagazine.com. The submission deadline is November 8, 2024. A nominal entry fee of $350 per submission has been introduced to cover operational costs, including the selection process and promotional efforts. Please note that spots are limited, so hurry to submit your application. Submission does not guarantee acceptance for the awards.

Nomination Curation:

The Pump It Up Magazine team, in collaboration with KPIU Radio, will meticulously curate a list of 8 finalists in each category from the nominated artists, albums, and songs. Nominations will be made by music professionals and executives.

Supporting the Event:

To streamline the process and ensure the awards’ continued growth, we’ve introduced a nominal submission fee of $350. Your contribution directly supports operational costs, including the selection process and promotional efforts.

Voting and Winners Reveal:

Late March marks the return to KPIU RADIO AND PUMP IT UP MAGAZINE, inviting the audience to cast their votes and shape the destiny of the winners. The grand reveal will unfold on March 8, 2025—a testament to the vibrant journey embarked upon, now with the rhythmic beats of KPIU Radio echoing in harmony. The voting process will be conducted online, allowing people from around the world to participate.

Important:

For this first online session of the Pump It Up Magazine Music Awards, in partnership with Délit Music France, the awards will be sent directly by mail. Winning artists must create a thank-you video with their trophies.

Please note that for future editions, some will be organized in Los Angeles. During these events, artists will receive their trophies in person during live stage performances, filmed and broadcast live on the web.

Registration Process:

1. Artists can register through forms on the following websites: pumpitupmagazine.com for English-speaking artists and delitmusic.fr for French-speaking artists.
2. Artists can also send their nominations by email to musicawards@pumpitupmagazine.com or leave their suggestions on dedicated social media posts. Disqualification:

• Pump It Up Magazine and KPIU Radio reserve the right to disqualify any submission that violates eligibility criteria, submission guidelines, or terms and conditions.
• Disqualification results in the non-refund of the entry fee. Please note that if the artist withdraws before the deadline, a management fee of 20% will be deducted from the total entry fee.

How are Nominees and Winners Chosen?

1. Initially, to establish the list of nominees for the Pump It Up Magazine Music Awards, in partnership with Délit Music France, each entry is validated by experts in the music field, such as record labels, concert producers, and publishers. Selection criteria vary by category.
2. Next, this list is submitted to a second panel of professionals including journalists, producers, record label executives, and artists. Winners are then elected by this same panel, which breaks the tie between the three nominees with the most votes in a second round. The public can participate by voting exclusively on the following websites: pumpitupmagazine.com for English-speaking artists and delitmusic.fr for French-speaking artists, via a form or a playlist dedicated to the unique category of "Revelation of the Year".

Important to Note: Participation in the Pump It Up Magazine Music Awards does not guarantee a win, but it allows you to compete for nominations. Non-winning participants will receive a half-page feature in the prestigious Pump It Up Magazine and Délit Music Mag, as well as one month of playlist inclusion on KPIU Radio and I2 Radio, along with social media presence.
