It’s that time of year folks! Nominations for the 65th annual Grammy Awards were announced the morning of Tuesday, November 15, and ASCAP members sure have a lot to celebrate!
Beyhive, rejoice! Queen Beyoncé joins her husband Jay-Z as the most-nominated people in Grammy history, tied at a whopping 88. With a massive nine noms, Bey is the most nominated artist for the 2023 awards. If Beyoncé wins in four or more categories, she will break the record for the person with the most trophies in Grammy history!
It’s the first year of the long awaited Songwriter of the Year category, and ASCAP superscribes Amy Allen & The-Dream both received well-deserved nominations.
We also have some Best New Artist nominees in the house – DOMi & JD Beck, Wet Leg, Måneskin, Muni Long and Tobe Nwigwe are all contenders for the buzzy award.
In the Song of the Year category, ASCAP members wrote seven of the 10 songs nominated for Song of the Year, hits like Beyoncé’s “BREAK MY SOUL,” Adele’s “Easy on Me” and Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit.”
The 65th GRAMMY Awards will air live on Sunday, Feb. 5, from Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena, and will broadcast live on CBS and stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
Check out all the amazing ASCAP nominees in the list below – we’ll be updating the list as the research rolls in!
Congratulations to all of our Grammy Awards nominees!
