A feature documentary depicting the life and legacy of iconic funk artist Sly Stone will be released next year.
It took 10 years for Brady Spensor to direct the documentary on the frontman of Sly and the Family Stone.
“When I was big enough to reach the piano, I thought that everybody had to do it in the world. This documentary is a chance to share my story with all the wide-eyed dreamers,” Spencer said in a statement.
“It took months before Sly even remembered my name. But soon after, I would get called at all hours,” he told Deadline.
“This was at a time in his life when things were really difficult for Sly,” he added.
Dance to the Streaming Music will be brought to viewers by Winter State Entertainment.
