Los Angeles’ own Fernando Harkless is ready to return from his three year hiatus, with his slamming funky single, “Sticks & Stones (The Funk Will Never Hurt You)”!
Harkless has long been a pivotal player in the world of funk music, known throughout the country for his virtuoso playing of the saxophone while being an accomplished vocalist and entertainer for a number of decades.
Harkless has performed alongside some of the greatest acts of multiple generations, including Marvin Gaye and Mariah
Carey. He has taken his vast experience and pieced it all together to craft his latest single. With assistance from former Motown producer Michael B. Sutton, “Sticks & Stones” turns the age-old adage on it’s head by adding a funkadelic vibe to it, bringing a positive energy that is very much needed in the world right now!
