The 5th Annual Women’s Freedom Song Contest – Register Now!

The fifth annual Women’s Freedom Song Contest is now accepting entries from December 1, 2022 to March 1, 2023. They are seeking powerful and inspiring songs written by women or about women, as well as music videos and lyrics/poems that celebrate the strength and beauty of women. The contest is open to all genders and anyone who writes songs.

Originality, melody, and lyrics will be the main judging criteria for the song category. The music video and lyric/poem categories will also be judged on their ability to convey a message of female empowerment.

This year’s panel of judges includes renowned industry professionals such as Brent Backhus, Sara Knight, Ruth McCartney, Sarah Burke, Karen Bliss, David Eaton and Diana Williamson. Prizes include marketing and promotion from AirPlay Direct, gift certificates from The Guitar Center Foundation, song pitch opportunities from Broadjam, and more.

Winners will be announced on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2023.
