However, she has persevered and continues to push forward with the vision for her company and show to expand into short stories, movies, and mini concert series for streaming, and expand to platforms like Spotify and other podcast platforms to reach a broader audience

INTERVIEW:

Dr.Cindy Davis Evans

Can you tell us about the concept behind “The Cindy Davis Show” and how you came up with the idea for the show?

First, I want to say thank you for featuring me on Pump it up!

Now, how much time do we have? Lol!  The Cindy Davis show was never supposed to happen… I could barely read “aloud” in grade school due to my speech impediment, let alone host a national online/tv talk show. I had a severe stutter, however with the help of speech therapy and the Grace of God, here I am today, hosting, The Cindy Davis Show.  In 1992, I hosted my first t.v. show called, “The Women of Victory Broadcast, it was a testimonial/story concept show, but when the owner sold the station, I started CinDav Productions a indie Production company, that has a vison for short films, and various types tv series and talk shows.

I believe everybody has a story to tell, and I want to get the stories out there to encourage, uplift, or just to make somebody’s day a little brighter, hence, The Cindy Davis Show, which is a bio/autobiographical concept.

What kind of topics do you cover on the show and how do you choose the content for each episode?

The topics may vary depending on the guest. One guest we had on the show was a survival of the Jim Jones cult that happened back in 1978. However, a lot of our guest are music legends and unsung heroes, who come on the show to share with their adoring fans about their life, struggles, and music, therefore the content is usually biographical.

Can you share with us some of your most memorable moments or guests on “The Cindy Davis Show”?

Good question, all of our guest who visit the Cindy Davis Show are memorable, but to answer your question, Dr. Hue Fortson was the most memorable, due to the fact that he lost his family in the Jim Jones mass murder suicide, and he lived to tell about it. (To your readers, if you are not familiar with that horrific true story, please google it.)

How do you balance entertainment with hard-hitting interviews on your show?

Another good question, I try to keep them separate. If it’s a hard-hitting interview, I tone the vibe down.

What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in your career in the entertainment industry?

Some of the challenges I have faced in this industry is as an indie producer was not enough support from my peers… Then there was the struggle to get noticed as a producer/ host. Thank God that’s not the case now!  You just have to keep on moving forward!

Can you tell us about any upcoming projects or segments that viewers can look forward to on “The Cindy Davis Show”?

There is an upcoming project in the works, I don’t want to disclose it at this time, but I will be happy to share the upcoming project after it comes into fruition on my social media! So look out!!
