Women In Film Annual Gala – June 12th

This year, Women In Film set out to pivot our Annual Gala to highlight community, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. We are thrilled to honor Amy Poehler, Issa Rae, and Cathy Schulman with a new slate of awards that represents the true essence of WIF’s Mission: “advocating for and advancing the careers of women in the screen industries, to achieve parity and transform culture.”

• Amy Poehler — The Women In Film Entrepreneur in Entertainment Award
• Issa Rae — The Women In Film Emerging Entrepreneur Award
• Cathy Schulman — The Crystal Award for Advocacy in Entertainment

These honorees demonstrate a lifelong commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and support for the next generation of rising talent. Additionally, Elizabeth Debicki has been named the recipient of the Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award®.

At the event, we’ll also be announcing the winner of the first-ever Women In Film Member’s Choice Award, which will focus on the incredibly talented female directors of 2018 who were largely overlooked for consideration in the last awards cycle, and we’ll be introducing the ReFrame Rise Directors Class of 2021!

Join us at the Women In Film Annual Gala, hosted by Xosha Roquemore and presented by Max Mara. https://womeninfilm.org/gala
